A very beautiful piece of scholar art that used as brush pot or bitong under bluish white glaze. The entire wall was finely incised with scrolls flora and vein that imitate Kangxi dynasty motif. The unglaze rim that the base reveal the original firing red. Excellent condition except two unglaze finger mark noted at the rim.

Another charm that will definetly attract attention when place it on the scholar deck.

A similar piece with measurement of 17.7cm width dated to Kangxi period has been auction at China Guardian on 06/11/2000, refer lot 1240.
