An extremely astonish example of Song Dynasty Qingbai porcelain bowl for your collection. This soft texture shallow Qingbai or rather "sky blue" glaze bowl was produced from Hutian village, near Jingdezhen, Jiangxhi province 700 years ago. Attractive and lively impressed fishes form within the lotus flower in the center while visible incised meander pattern below the unglazed edge. The firing red unglazed mouth rim shown the updown firing technique being applied during Sung dynasty. Except for very tiny hairline of 2cm at mouth rim, it could be said in mint condition. Lovely and hard to come by collection piece for serious collector !~!!!

(Actual sky blue glaze colour shown by thumbnail photo).
