Belitung shipwreck Changsa Pot

A rare example of Tang dynasty 4 lugs pot derived from Belitung shipwreck salvage,near Indonesia Island. This pot has been laying at seabed for 1000 years that the body has suffered quite serious glaze degradation and almost 85% of the surface being covered by marine encrustation. The dark honey brownish /amber crackle glaze intact shown that the glaze applied on the upper half of the body only. A large shell stick at the base. This pot has been preserved in it original unclean condition and will be an elegant museum quality display piece in home, studio and office.

Very good condition . No hairline and restoration.. An old chip at base covered by marine form.
