An
elegent Jizhou brown glaze guan with tortoiseshell effect dated
to Yuan period. The beautiful glaze effect is extended from mouth
rim to the round body but stop short near to foot rim where some
glaze pooling form on the brow slip decoration. A horizontal joint
line inside the guan shown that it was probably joint by glaze which
is one of the method used in Yuan dynasty. Natural firing red on
the concave base. |

beautiful Jizhou rice measure in qingbai glaze dated to Yuan dynasty.
Covered with age crackle glaze with minimal glaze worn at rim edge.
A horizontal joint line inside the guan shown that it was probably
joint by glaze which is one of the method used in Yuan dynasty.

good finding on Song brownish glaze rice measure influence by Jizhou
kiln with vertical wave line from neck to the base. This vessel
glazed decoration only at internal while unglaze extranl body shown
reddish firing red. We believed this is the product from other Ganshu
kiln. |
