An impressive kraak style large bowl with bird
resting on rock garden divided by precious ribbon motif in 6 panels.
This is not a typical Ming's Kraak
ware of Wanli reign but rather a Qing copy that
depicting Kraak style. A genuine Ming dynasty kraak ware at this
condition and size normaly score a very good price and very much
higher then what we are offer for sale now. We believed this is mid
to late Qing dynasty, blue and white bowl that imitate Kraak ware
motif as it was one of the famous decoration motif during Kangxi
reign as well.
Lustrious glaze remain with very good
condition, except some bubble burst at the rim and the base( see
photos). Some scratches wear visible at rim. Otherwise, superb
condition. No others chip, hairline and restoration. This is truly a
beautiful decoration piece at home. . |
