Ming Zhengde "Falun" Motif Guan

An attractive and rare Mid Ming dynasty, Zhengde reign blue and white guan with "Falun" motif at the center. A band of circular cloud motif fill the first layer near to the rim follow by "Ruyi" motif at the shoulder. The 4th layer was some upward leaf patern.

High unglaze foot rim with potruding "chicken heart" base. This is an excavation guan. Unclean condition. Except the misfiring that result in greyish colour cobalt blue, it is really a lovely piece.

Some glaze abrasion, age wear aspected. No others chip and restoration.
