georgeous Eastern Jin (AD317-420) yueyao kiln chicken ewer produced
from Wuzhou Kiln, Zhejiang province, China.
Dragon
head handle with chicken head as spout. The ewer covered with thin
layer of crackle green glaze with beautiful brown spot at the everted
rim and body which is a common porcelain decoration practised at
Eastern Jin period. The greyish paste turn into natural firing red
with spur mark at base.
Tthis
vase has remain exceptional good glaze condition with very tiny
chip and rim and minimal glaze wear. Closed to superb condition
and no others chip,crack and restore notice. A lovely piece that
enhance your collection.
